Spring training has started for baseball's 2009 season. Let's get out to the ballfield ourselves and play baseball for the health of it. Why pay $100.00 a ticket to watch steroid filled millionaires play the game ? We are better off playing the game at our local park and reaping the healthy rewards!

LobelAre You Ready for the return of Bob lobell? Well Bob has been filling in on his old radio station WBZ 1030 by the way and doing a good job.WBZ fired several of their ror olden air folks awhile ago. Also returning to BZ is Steve Lavelli who was replaced for about a month with the lamest syndicated talk show I ever heard!Listeners complained to WBZ about that one and got their guy Steve back on air.

Boston Mayor Tom Menino has complained about the revenue he says the city of Boston lost in the World Series of 2007 . Remember that one ? Sox swept the Colorado high Rockies in four straight but Denver Colorado gained more revenue than Boston!! Go figure. I agree with Mayor Tom on that one.Boston needs all the revenue it can get since most of the property is non taxable with all  educational and health institutions expanding all the time. Nice of the Mayor Tom to have his elderly commission leave messages and a phone number to call if seniors are having financial problems in these tough economic times. But the government seems to have run out of money for the digital boxes!!! Of course the Bush administration had plenty to bailout his Wall St. thieves!! Talk about rewarding the thieves!!!So how's Bernie Madoff doing these days? Now that surveys say people are saving more money they tell us we should be spending rather than saving!!!!! A big wtf on that one since "experts" have been telling to save more and spend less the last ten or more years as a way to ease the inflation or whatever those Wall St. thieves try to call their criminal acts!! Ya and more on the way.
